SR 57/60 Interchange PS&E of ITS

The SR 57/60 Interchange PS&E of ITS Project is a major three-phase initiative led by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) to improve safety and traffic flow at one of Southern California’s most congested interchanges. Designed to reduce weaving, congestion, and accidents, the project reconfigures ramps and interchanges and adds auxiliary collector/distributor and bypass lanes. ADVANTEC is developing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for both temporary and final Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and electrical improvements along the freeway mainline and bypass connectors. LA Metro values ADVANTEC’s ability to deliver detailed ITS designs that include ramp metering, CCTV cameras, traffic monitoring stations, fiber optic communication, and roadway lighting. With proven experience collaborating with large agencies and consultants, ADVANTEC utilizes industry-standard platforms such as ProjectWise, MicroStation V8i, InRoads, SignCAD, Synchro, and GoToMeeting to streamline coordination and maintain high-quality deliverables throughout all phases of the project.
