Chris Buscarino serves as the Director of Transportation at ADVANTEC Consulting Engineers and is a Senior Project Manager/Civil Engineer with over 35 years of experience managing complex transportation projects throughout California. He is recognized for his hands-on project management style and capability to lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery while consistently meeting client expectations regarding scope, schedule, and budget. 

He has successfully managed and delivered various Project Study Reports (PSRs), Project Study Reports/Project Reports (PSR/PRs), Project Approval/Environmental Documents (PA/EDs), and Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for both roadway and rail infrastructure projects. Chris has a proven track record of securing approvals from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and local municipalities, county governments, and regulatory agencies. 

In addition to his public sector experience, he has worked as a Civil Design Manager on several design-build projects across California, providing technical leadership and facilitating coordination among diverse stakeholders and project partners. 

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and a certified Project Management Consultant (PMC). His professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Public Works Association (APWA), where he previously served as President of the Inland Empire Branch and now serves as Scholarship Chair, leading a committee that provides funding to various public works/civil engineering-related colleges within the Inland Empire area.
