Henry Trinh is a Senior Project Manager at ADVANTEC Consulting Engineers and a highly experienced traffic electrical designer with over 25 years of expertise in project plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) development for traffic signals, ramp metering systems, highway and street lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and EV Charging. His work encompasses local and state projects, including major transportation corridors and multimillion-dollar infrastructure programs.

He has extensive experience working within Caltrans jurisdictions, particularly in Districts 12, 7, 8, and 11, and regularly provides on-call design services for Caltrans Districts 7 and 12. His deep understanding of Caltrans design standards and coordination practices has significantly contributed to successfully delivering high-impact projects.

His career includes 3.5 years with Delcan Technologies as a system integrator and over two decades of experience in design-build implementation and ITS integration. He has served as the lead designer on projects such as extending the SR-91 Express Lanes from Orange County to Riverside County. Currently, he leads the traffic electrical design for improvements at the I-710 Firestone interchange. He also played a pivotal role in the OCTA’s SR-55 Improvement Project between I-5 and SR-91.

Henry holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
