The County of Los Angeles, with funding from Metro, led the Las Tunas Drive/Live Oak Avenue/Arrow Highway Traffic Signal Synchronization Project (TSSP) to improve traffic flow and enhance safety across 36 intersections. The project included upgrades to traffic signal controller cabinets, installation of video/radar detection systems, intersection rewiring, ADA-compliant ramp design, and median nose cutbacks. ADVANTEC is served as the prime consultant, providing full civil and traffic engineering services for the final design plans and engineer’s cost estimates. The scope included a comprehensive field inventory and development of base, utility, and improvement plans for each project milestone. ADVANTEC also prepared signing and striping plans, traffic control plans at select locations, and construction support to ensure successful project delivery.
