Advanced technology is improving vehicular travel in and around Culver City by making traffic significantly more efficient throughout the city’s 105 street intersections. Improved travel time, as well as significantly reduced stops, delays, fuel consumption and greenhouse gases are being accomplished with the new Citywide Adaptive Traffic Control System (ATCS). As one of the first cities to develop a citywide ATCS system in southern California, second only to the Los Angeles ATSAC in scale, Culver City has made major strides towards citywide implementation of state-of-the-art technologies to promote travel reliability and safety.
