ADVANTEC was selected by the Riverside County Transportation Department (RCTD) to provide on-call traffic engineering services as part of the County’s 5-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), supporting over 120 capital projects across a 2,300-mile road network. ADVANTEC’s team augments in-house staff and delivers comprehensive technical services from project planning to final design, funding support, and construction bidding. Services include traffic signal timing updates at 148 locations, synchronization for major corridors, and development of a countywide traffic signal communication master plan. ADVANTEC also led the implementation of Transparity ATMS, supported grant applications, prepared PS&E for new intersections, and updated safety analysis reports. In response to growing demands, ADVANTEC expanded support to RCTD’s Project Development Division, assisting in the management of nearly $480 million in TIP investments covering roadway construction, signal upgrades, ADA improvements, and multimodal enhancements. This ongoing partnership strengthens the County’s transportation infrastructure and promotes systemwide efficiency and safety.
