Project Description

ADVANTEC has provided the City of Newport Beach with on-call professional traffic engineering services on an “As-Needed” for the following:

  • Provide full plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for Traffic/Transportation/ITS engineering projects

  • Prepare or review traffic and transportation planning studies

  • Prepare or review traffic signal timing and signal coordination plans

  • Prepare conceptual design plans/exhibits

  • Provide cost estimating and value engineering services

  • Provide bid support and preparation of record drawings

  • Other engineering-related tasks, as necessary, such as:

    • Complete streets enhancements, roadway geometrics, sustainable site improvements, and ADA considerations

    • Grant application preparation

    • Traffic signal and signal communication inspection

    • CADD and Revit CAD support services
