Status: Full time/non-Exempt
Pay Scale: $100,000-$130,000; DOE
Location: Irvine, CA. After three months of satisfactory performance in the office, employee may work from home up to 3 days a week, subject to company policies at that time.

ADVANTEC Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a rapidly growing professional engineering consulting firm, headquartered in Irvine, in addition to other offices in Diamond Bar and Palm Desert.
We are looking for a experienced Proposal Manager to join our dynamic growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of A/E/C industry proposal and marketing experience who is looking for a varied and challenging role.
Candidate must have experience in:
Creating responses to RFI, RFQ, and RFPs, documentation and proposal management
Candidate must be proficient in complete MS Office Suite, Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

Job Responsibilities
Proposals
Research potential pursuits; develop proposal outline for Project Managers
Assist Project Manager with pursuits, develop content, graphic materials and ensure timely delivery of proposals
Respond to teaming partners request for proposal input and other information
Create, edit, and manage proposal templates to be used in various pursuits
Assist in editing copy for clarity, simplicity, and length
Coordinate proposal production, quality control reviews and delivery process
Assist Project Managers with preparation of interview materials and logistics
Run weekly Business Development meetings with Project Managers
Analyze proposal success rates, identify and implement ways to improve them.
Marketing
Responsible for creation, coordination and maintenance of marketing materials, resumes, company brochures, project abstracts and company website
Coordinating proposal production - from planning to formatting (basic graphic design) and printing – you work with our Project Managers to make sure it looks great and is on time
Event coordination, including conferences, exhibitions, and internal company events
Managing the company’s website and social media
Prepare press releases and ads for project and company news
Prepare materials as needed for meetings, careers events and networking opportunities, company newsletter and events
Project Support
Attend project manager meetings to gain knowledge of the project milestones and update the backlog accordingly
Assist project team with graphic materials as needed
Assist Project Managers with project/administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role in the A/E/C industry
Must have proposal experience
B.S. or B.A. Degree preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience in managing deadline driven marketing / administrative projects
Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are required
Candidate must be proficient in the complete MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP), Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Ability to conduct final QC check, including proofreading for grammar and RFP/Q compliance
Experience developing content and design for promotional materials (brochures, flyers, other graphics)
Candidate will also need the following attributes: ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines, energetic, positive attitude, flexible, team player, good time management skills, detail oriented, and well-organized
Must have a team-playing approach to work and be willing to help whenever needed.
Skills & Experience
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook…etc.) and Adobe are required.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable, and/or relevant experience (3+ years) in related work.
Experience with engineering consulting firms is a plus.
Some graphic design experience is a major plus!
Pay & Benefits:
