ADVANTEC has supported the City of Anaheim’s transportation department by providing on-call municipal engineering staff augmentation, specifically for traffic control plan reviews. These reviews covered submittals from consultants and utility companies for construction activities across the city, including high-traffic areas near major attractions like Disneyland Resort, the Anaheim Convention Center, Honda Center, and Angel Stadium. Using the WATCH Manual and MUTCD standards, ADVANTEC ensured that proposed traffic control plans maintained safety and minimized disruption for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. ADVANTEC also reviewed plans submitted through the City’s TMC for time-sensitive projects and used the e-PlanREVIEW (EPR) platform for digital submittals. Staff routinely worked on-site at City Hall 1–2 times per week to deliver completed reviews, coordinate with the Principal Traffic Engineer, and track progress in Accela, including time spent per submittal. This collaborative, efficient process helped the City manage traffic impacts effectively during street construction activities.
