City of West Hollywood - Smart Bus Shelter and Totem Projects

Project Description

JCDecaux Street Furniture and ADVANTEC Consulting Engineer installed various Smart City bus shelters and totems on Santa Monica Blvd and Sunset Blvd in an effort to enhance urban design and promote the use of public options, such as Metro and City of West Hollywood.

The Smart Bus Shelter features a large shade canopy, integrated ceiling LED lighting to look as if standing underneath of leafy tree canopy, visual real-time bus arrival information on digital text screen, audio real-time arrival information operated by push button aimed at assisting people with vision impairment.

Furthermore, JCDecaux Street Furniture and ADVANTEC Consulting Engineer installed the totem sites includes USB charging ports and Wi-Fi at each Smart Bus Shelter to provide a convenient way while waiting for their bus.
